Trusted Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano – a players ’transfers – confirmed that the Royal Club has already reached an agreement to include Moroccan talent Abdullah Wazzan, coming from Ajax Amsterdam in a free transfer deal.

He explained that Wazzan, 16, is expected to join the Castilla team at the Real Madrid Academy (the reserve team that is currently competing in the third degree) starting in July.
This comes a few days later, with information published by Moroccan reports stating that Wazzan left the camp of the Moroccan U -17 team – who is in Spain – heading to the capital Madrid, in order to undergo a medical examination in preparation for the signing of his contract to the Royal Club.
For its part, the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” explained that Wazzan was not linked to a contract with Ajax after the end of last season, and the Dutch team tried hard to maintain the player, but he chose to have a new experience with Real Madrid after consultations with his family.
Real Madrid is one of the most active European clubs in the first weeks of the end of the 2024-2025 season, and the opening of the summer transfer window.
After contracting with Dean Huwson from Bournemouth, and Trent Alexander Arnold from Liverpool, Real Madrid continues to sign young players with a promising future, knowing that the Royal Club is also seeking to obtain the services of Argentine Franco Mastantonio from River Plate, as well as restore its former player Alvaro Carreras from Benfica.
Wazzan is seen as a talented player with high technical skills and ability to advance towards the penalty area, and his talent has emerged in Ajax.

Wazzan is scheduled to be trained under the supervision of the new coach of the reserve team for Real Madrid Alvaro Erbilo, who received the task to succeed Raul Gonzales.
The same newspaper pointed out that Wazzan can be called to the first team if necessary in some matches, similar to what happened with former players such as Gonzalo Garcia Raul Asensio and Victor Moneth.
Wazzan was on the radar of several major clubs last year, most notably Paris Saint -Germain (European champion) and Manchester City.
