US President Donald Trump said today that his country will not allow Iran to possess a “absolutely” nuclear weapon, in his first statement after developing developments regarding tension with Iran and Washington’s demand to voluntarily leave the military families from places in the region.

The American “CBS” network reported that President Trump answered a question he was directed to about the reasons for the voluntary departure of American military families of the Middle East by saying: “In order not to be in danger and we will see what will happen.”

In another statement, Trump said, “I am now more confident than ever that the United States army will add glory after another in the coming days,” Trump said.

“CNN” quoted sources that Trump is aware of the recent movements and the Central Command monitors tensions in the Middle East, adding that he asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, while contacting Monday, to stop talking about an attack on Iran.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Washington Post quoted sources that US military embassies and bases across the region were placed at maximum alert in anticipation of a possible Israeli attack on Iran.

The Washington Post also quoted a diplomat in the region that America is watching “the situation with concern and we believe that it is more dangerous than ever,” and also quoted sources that “the concern of US intelligence officials is escalating for fear that Israel beat Iran without Washington’s approval.”
