The exclusive commercial partner of the Saudi Football Association (SMC) has signed an agreement with the company “SUMKM” Sport, whereby Hong Kong will host the Saudi Super Cup 2025 period from 19 to 23 August next with the participation of Al -Ittihad, Al -Qadisiyah, Al -Hilal and Al -Nasr clubs.

Mohamed Al -Khuraiji, Chairman of the “SMC” group, signed the hosting agreement with Andy Hao, CEO of Livstation Sports on behalf of the “SUMKM” Sport in the presence of Naim Al -Bakr, member of the Saudi Federation and Chairman of the Competitions Committee, at the group’s headquarters in Riyadh.

The establishment of the Saudi Super Cup in Hong Kong comes as a continuation of the tournament strategy in establishing a number of copies outside the Kingdom, with the aim of building strategic international partnerships that enhance the spread of local football.

The agreement came within the efforts of the “SMC” group to support the championship vision and the Saudi Federation in linking the international bodies to the local sports market, which is witnessing rapid growth and remarkable development, to serve the sports sector as one of the most important targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.

The Hong Kong Stadium – which can accommodate 40,000 spectators – hosts the championship matches, the official stadium of the Hong Kong team, which was built in 1953 before being renewed in 1994.
