Islam’s view of sacrifice and its position on it

The concept of sacrifice includes the individual and the group, and it differs according to the need of the situation and the ability of individuals and the assimilation of societies, for example, the sacrifice of time may be that its importance is sacrificing according to the need and choosing time and the appropriate type, so it does not depend on the estimation of the individual alone when it aims to serve the entire society.
Who among us did not hear the sacrifices of the Companions in the first knee when one of them came – who is the wealthy rich – with his entire money when the Muslims needed money, and another bought for the Muslims a well to be raised from it when the water was rewarded, and another prepared a complete army of his money for love and dignity and see what God promised them in his dear book as the Almighty saying in Surat (Al -Raad: 22) Prayer, and spent what we had in secret and publicly, and teaching them with bad good for them, those who followed the house.
And the Almighty said in Surat Al -Hadid﴿ Those who recite the Book of God and perform the prayer and spend from what we have made them secret and publicly hope for a trade that will not be overlooked, and many other stories of sacrifice, each of which dominates the story of certainty in the true heart of the Muslim.
Not to mention the altruism and seeking Islam in the needs of all Muslims, and his saying, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, may fall, “Whoever needs his brother was God in his need” within the same framework.

The concept of sacrifice for philosophers

The concept of sacrifice is mixed with the general thinkers of the idea of atonement for sins and psychological disinfection as is the case with Buddhists, and the concept is mixed with some philosophers and thinkers of the Islamic character in the concept of self -raising, refining and jihad, based on the difficulty of sacrifices on the one hand and the severity of its impact on the human soul, as it is often based on violating the passion, comfort of the soul and its pleasure.
But some thinkers and those concerned with the types of characters and their programming have a different point of view, as some of them go until the varying matter between people is normal, so the sacrifice may meet as an idea with the jihad of the soul sometimes and you may separate, so what is difficult for you to do may like others to do, and what is difficult for yourself may have a pleasant or sweet impact on others.
The meaning and shape of the sacrifice may be confused with other meanings, as if it becomes a duty! Yes, do not be surprised.

Between martyrdom and sacrifice

Given the term “sacrifice” – which is one of the Islamic terms – we find that it is a special term that means the slaughter of cattle and the distribution of its meat closer to God, and it is far from the meaning of the victim that kills or slaughtered unjustly, but rather the exact opposite, as this term gained deep meanings indicating the physical effort in order to satisfy God and make people happy and expand them.
The testimony in the way of God is based on the concept of self -sacrifice, and does a person have more precious than his soul to present it for the sake of his religion and belief? Yes .. Perhaps there is something more precious, so sacrifice itself is a broad concept, and people may vary in their ability to do in it, so sacrificing money may be easier than sacrificing time for some people, and some of them sacrifice themselves for the sake of money, and such sacrifice for family, child and loved ones, and here lies another secret of human differences, their variation and their variation in the ladder of priorities, even if they are one.

It is necessary to distinguish between the intended testimony in which one in which one exerts himself is satisfied with a reassuring, hoping for the reward of martyrdom for the sake of God and immortality in the paradise of Paradise and between the testimony that one gets a judgment written in the record of their destiny. The path of God.
The areas of distinction between the two states of martyrdom here is the decision, determination and courage, and this is the basis of sacrifice, and without it the martyrdom is not a sacrifice and sacrifice for the sake of God, for the Mujahid who drives himself to the fields of fighting and he knows that he may lose his life or may be hurt, he had promised himself before that what awaits him in his hereafter in belief and ratification of the promise of God Almighty to the Mujahideen who are martyred in his path in Surat Al -Imran They were killed for the sake of God, but alive with their Lord, who will give* happy with what God has given them of His grace and preaching to those who did not catch them from behind them, except for fear of them, nor are they grieving*
