Former Bulgarian Minister: Israel deprived Iran of fighting a nuclear war policy

A former Bulgarian minister said that the Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities deprived them of obtaining nuclear weapons “that can be used immediately”, and the Israeli Mossad quoted information that only 15 days were separating Tehran from possessing nuclear weapons.

Bulgarian Foreign Minister Solomon Bassi said between 2001 and 2005 in an interview broadcast by “BTV” last Sunday evening, before the start of this process, we were about 15 days – that is, two weeks – from a nuclear war.

He added that the Iranians “needed only 15 days to produce about 12 nuclear missiles, warheads, and weapons that could be used immediately.”

“All of this was well known, and was accurately calculated by the Mossad, Israeli intelligence,” said the former Bulgarian official – who also chaired the Foreign Relations Committee of the Organization for Security and Cooperation, adding that “the pre -emptive process made that nuclear war away to an unknown direction.”

In the context, Bassi called on his country to “decipher freezing its uranium fields and grant them to the allied companies for investment, so that this raw material can be used as Ukrainian raw materials are currently used by the United States of America.”

Passi’s statement sparked the reaction of the leader of the Vzrajdana (Al -Nahda) national party, Costaden Costadenov, who said sarcastically on his Facebook page, “Solomon Passi, that Bulgaria should reopen its uranium mines to help Israel with uranium crude.”

“I completely support Solomon, but on the condition that he is the first to enter to work in extracting uranium,” he added.
