Countries from around the world are taking measures to evacuate their citizens from Israel and Iran with the passage of a week since the war between them, and the continued closure of the airspace in the region.
With the continuation of the war and the concerns of the escalation between the two parties, many countries were quick to organize evacuating trips for their citizens from countries neighboring Iran and Israel.
Below are some countries that left citizens with Iran and Israel:
Australia
On Wednesday, Foreign Minister Benny Wong said that the Australian government postponed on Wednesday a small group of 1,200 Australians who were seeking to leave Israel.
About 2000 Australians in Iran registered requests for help.
Austria
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that 48 Austrians left Israel or neighboring Jordan out of 200 citizens who applied to the embassy in Tel Aviv.
About 100 Austrians asked to leave Iran, and 44 Austrian and European citizens were evacuated to Türkiye and Armenia.
Bulgaria
The government said it has postponed 17 diplomats and their families from Iran to Azerbaijan and will return them by land and air, and the embassy administration in Tehran will temporarily move to Baku.
China
A Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Thursday that the country postponed more than 1,600 citizens from Iran and hundreds of others from Israel.
Official media reported that there are several thousand Chinese in Iran.
Czech Republic
Defense Secretary Yana Cernuchova said a plane carrying 66 people who were evacuated from Israel landed near the capital Prague.
France
Foreign Minister Jean -Nawil Barrow said on Thursday that the country will organize a convoy from Iran to the Turkish or Armenian border.
Barrow stated that the French in Israel can ride buses from the Jordanian border starting from Friday morning and a plane was rented from Amman.
Germany
The Foreign Ministry said that 345 Germans left the Middle East after the country provided casual flights.
Greece
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday that the country postponed 16 citizens and their families from Iran to Azerbaijan, and is now working to return them home.
India
The Indian Foreign Ministry said yesterday, Wednesday, that it had launched an operation to evacuate its citizens from Iran, and stated that 110 Indian students were evacuated from northern Iran to Armenia on June 17.
Italy
Italy is organizing a casual flight from Egypt on June 22 to allow its citizens to leave Israel if they want to.
A diplomatic source said that almost 29 out of 500 Italians left Iran on Wednesday with the help of the government.
Japan
The Japanese government said on Thursday that it will send two transportation planes belonging to the self -defense forces to Djibouti in preparation for the evacuation of the Japanese from Iran and Israel.
The two Japanese embassies in Israel and Iran prepared to evacuate citizens with buses to neighboring countries from Thursday.
Poland
The Foreign Ministry said that a group of Polish was evacuated from Iran who returned to Warsaw yesterday morning.
The first evacuation of Israel in Warsaw landed on Wednesday morning, and a second plane was expected to return with 65 people from Amman on Thursday afternoon.
Portugal
The country temporarily closed its embassy in Iran and postponed 4 Portuguese through Azerbaijan.
The Foreign Ministry said it had received 130 return requests from citizens in Israel and organized a return trip that arrived in Portugal on Thursday.
Serbia
Ambassador Meroliop Petrovic said on Thursday that a group of 100 Serbs fled from Israel across Egypt.
Slovakia
The Slovak authorities stated that the first evacuation trip arrived in Bratislava on Monday with 73 people, 25 tourists and 5 members of diplomats working in Tel Aviv.
The Foreign Ministry said on Friday that it will temporarily close its embassy in Tehran and work to evacuate all employees from the country.
South Korea
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that 18 citizens and two members of their families, two Iranians, were evacuated by land from Iran.
Taiwan
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that 36 Taiwania was evacuated from Israel through the land crossing with Jordan, and 3 Taiwanese Iranians have left Iran across the land border with Türkiye.
US
The US ambassador to Israel, Mike Hakapi, said in a post on the X platform on Wednesday that the United States is working to evacuate its citizens who want to leave Israel by organizing flights and sea.
Vietnam
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs asked citizens in Israel and Iran to prepare to evacuate. She said that 18 Vietnamics had already been evacuated from Iran.
