The Moroccan club Wydad announced today, Monday, the injury of coach Mohamed Amin Benhashem and the team doctor in a traffic accident in the United States, where the team participates in the 2025 Football Club World Cup, but stressed that they are in a stable condition.
Wydad said, in a statement on the X platform, “We would like to inform our fans and the public opinion that a traffic accident occurred this morning so that the coach, Amine Benhasim, was a party in it in addition to the team doctor, Dr. Abdel -Razzaq Hafti.”

The statement added, “Praise be to God and thanks, no serious injuries were recorded, and all concerned are in a good health condition and they receive the necessary care. The competent authorities interfered quickly and efficiently and we extended her sincere thanks for her immediate response and professional dealing with the accident, in addition to the immediate presence of FIFA representatives.”
He continued, “We call on everyone not to circulate rumors or publish inaccurate information. We confirm that the situation is under control and does not call for any concern.”

Wydad and Al -Ain Al -Emirati bid farewell to the championship early after their balance remained without points from two games before meeting the two teams next Thursday in the last round of the group stage.
