Stephen Dujarric, a spokesman for the Secretary -General of the United Nations, stressed that the killing of the Palestinians while waiting for humanitarian aid is “unacceptable”, and that “the numbers do not lie,” noting that the numbers of victims who fall daily increased.
Since the beginning of the aggression on the Gaza Strip, Israel has imposed a strict siege on the Strip since October 2023, and prevents the access of food and drug aid to its residents, and during the past three months, this siege has increased very suffocating, and no longer allows any assistance to enter it, and the matter became limited to very limited aid that an American company distributes about 1.5 million citizens in Gaza.
The word “unacceptable” is no longer sufficient to express the humanitarian situation in Gaza, as the UN official saw that it seemed weak to express this “tragedy”, denouncing what he described as “militarization and politicization of humanitarian aid”, especially since the people who were killed were not more than trying to get food and strength for their families in order to survive, as he confirmed.
Sources in the sector hospitals said that 80 Palestinians have been killed since dawn yesterday, Tuesday, by the fire of the Israeli occupation forces, including 56 aid aid in the center of Netsarim. Gaza Strip And in Rafah South.
Risk
Since an American company took over the process of distributing aid to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and preventing the United Nations crews from taking over these tasks, scenes of targeting the Palestinians by the occupation forces have become repeated every day, as dozens of martyrs fall daily and dozens of others are wounded during their endeavor to obtain their day and children.
The United Nations does not seem satisfied with the American company’s work mechanism and its results, which was expressed by Dujarric, who said that the process of distributing aid is fraught with risks, and does not achieve the desired matter from it, but on the contrary, “It is unacceptable that people die while trying to get food to maintain their lives.”
The American company adopts a way of distributing human rights organizations as humiliating and does not respect human rights, as it is exposing to the lives of the Palestinians, as it makes them in front of the nozzles of the occupation forces rifles.
Despite the pressures of the United Nations, and the accusations that the Israeli authorities have been applied to, Dujarik stressed the commitment of the UN institution to continue its work, and that it will not leave Gaza, and “will continue to do the work that you can perform in the narrow space available to it.”
Since its aggression against Gaza, Israel has launched about 20 months ago, several attacks on the United Nations Foundation and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA), which Tahta accused of being involved in a number of its employees of belonging to the Palestinian resistance movements in the Strip, and at other times accused of lenient in the distribution of humanitarian aid that reaches the sector, in order to enable the resistance elements to obtain a large part of it.
The international organization does not claim that it is the only one capable of doing everything that should be done, but it demands that all organizations concerned to provide relief and humanitarian assistance be allowed to do its work in a framework of safety and transparency, according to Dujarric.
Dujarik warned that “the time is running out … and the food supplies run out … and fuel runs out,” stressing the urgent need to enter more aid quickly.
The International Organization says by Dujarik that it urgently needs to reach each family in Gaza Without the need to work through intermediaries or in areas that impose risks on people who go to them without any valid justifications.
Despite the relevant efforts made by the international organization in an effort to improve the status of the Gazans, and its constant communication with all concerned parties, whether they were Israelis, Americans, or humanitarian organizations working in Gaza, Dujarric did not seem optimistic, and he who described the situation as Gaza as harsh, and asked about the party that has a real impact on changing the situation on the ground.
The Palestinians in Gaza did not obtain some of their life rights except in the period that witnessed the release of detainees and the introduction of food aid and fuel.
Therefore, the UN official considered that the only solution in Gaza and the preservation of the lives of people there is dependent on a diplomatic and political solution away from killing and siege.
