In his speech at the ceremony, which was held on Friday, on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of his country’s independence from France, the President affirmed his determination to contribute to ending the Sudanese crisis and achieving sustainable peace.
The President of Djibouti said that his country cannot remain indifferent to the bloody conflict that tears Sudan, warning of the repercussions of the conflict over the stability of the region and its economic development, calling for the prevalence of dialogue and a peaceful settlement in dealing with differences between the countries of the region.
