Most of the players in Europe dream of some stage of winning the Champions League title, the most prominent club championships in the old continent.
While some players were lucky to win it several times, many failed to touch the “ears cup” and some of the legends of the game even have even participated in the final match.
The next 7 players did not reach the Champions League final:
1- Brazilian Ronaldo Nazario
Ronaldo’s treasures include the Golden Ball awards, the World Cup twice, two titles in the Spanish League, the European Golden Boot Award, and many other titles, yet the Champions League Cup escaped from the Brazilian throughout his career, and has not had an opportunity to raise it.
His team Real Madrid came out of the semi-finals at the hands of Juventus in the 2002-2003 season, and that was the closest opportunity to “the phenomenon” at all.
In the 2006-2007 season, Milan crowned the title, but because Ronaldo joined him in the middle of the season from Real Madrid, he was unable to participate in any match with the winning team.

2- Dutchman Road van Nistleroi
Only 6 players excel over Van Nesterewi in the history of the championship, scoring 56 goals in the Champions League. The most prominent European championship participated 73 times, but without reaching the final match.
The closest thing to the Dutch was the semi-finals with Manchester United in the 2001-2002 season.

3- Al-Suwaidi Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Ibrahimovic played 124 matches in the Champions League, representing Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, Milan, Paris Saint -Germain and Manchester United.
Al -Suwaidi scored 48 goals for the clubs that he represented in the most prominent European championship, including 10 goals in the floors exit roles.
However, the quarter-finals did not exceed only once when he reached the semi-finals with Barcelona in the 2009-2010 season.
Ibrahimovic had another opportunity to reach the final in the 2022-2023 season, when Milan reached the semi-finals, but the attacker was suffering from injuries throughout the season, and he did not play a minute in the Champions League.

4- Italian Francesco Totti
Totti’s career spanned more than 25 seasons that participated in 9 different seasons of the Champions League, accompanied by Rome.
But he not only reached the final, but only 16 did not exceed the round of 16 in the 2006-2007 season.

5- Czech Pavel Nedved
The winger scored a goal in the quarter-finals against Barcelona, leading Juventus to the semi-finals in the 2002-2003 season.
Al-Juvena lost 2-1 in the first leg, but he returned 3-1 in the second leg, after he scored a decisive goal.
But obtaining a second yellow card deprived him of participating in the final that Juventus lost to his Italian rival Milan.
Happy birthday to Juventus legend Pavel Nedved, who turns 45 today.

6- Italian Fabio Cannavaro
Canavaro was the heart of the Italian defense, one of the greatest defenders throughout the ages, and represented 3 clubs from his mother country, Parma, Inter Milan, and Juventus, along with the European giant Real Madrid in the European Elite Championship.
His first season in the Champions League with Inter was 5 years after his last participation with Parma was the season in which Canaavaro approached the title.
Inter Milan’s net received only one goal in his first three matches in the knockout roles, but his third match was against his rival Milan, who stopped his European adventure.
Happy birthday, Fabio Cannavaro.

7-Dutchman Dennis Berkamb
Bergkamb scored 7 goals in the Champions League for Arsenal, but the “Gunners” did not reach the final until the end of the Dutch player’s career.
French coach Arsene Wenger preferred to leave Bergkb on the bench against Barcelona at the France Stadium in 2006, which means that one of the greatest football players in his generation has never participated in the Champions League final.
