The Colombian Louis Diaz, Liverpool player, faces sharp criticism on social media because of his absence from the funeral of the Portuguese Dugo Gota, his English club teammate.
Diaz, 28, did not travel to Portugal to attend the Gotta funeral, which took place on Saturday, where his body and brother André Silva were buried in the Sao Cosmi cemetery in the Gondumar area of Portuguese.
On the other hand, a video clip spread on social media, in which Diaz appeared dancing with a number of celebrities in his country, in conjunction with the funeral.
The Argentine “TYC Sports” network confirmed that Diaz was at a ceremony for the influencers in the northern city of Parankia, in which it seemed very happy to pour it “widespread criticism from the close and the masses alike.”
A picture of the Colombian wing also spread with one of the celebrities in which he appeared smiling and raising his thumb, so that feelings of anger against Diaz increased to the point that a number of fans demanded his expulsion from Liverpool, according to the same network.
Many regained the position of Gota, supporting Liaz in 2023 when his father was kidnapped, as the Portuguese shirt raised his Colombian colleague after scoring a goal for Liverpool in one of the matches as an expression of Diaz’s support and his demand to release his father.
Diaz was satisfied with the participation of a post through his official account on “Instagram”, in which he shocked his great shock to the death of Gota.
Diaz wrote, “I do not find words to describe what happened. I feel great pain in the depths of my soul, not only for what Jota was on the field, but for the humanity he had,” Diaz wrote.
“There are never forgotten situations Diogo (Gota) who did a situation that I will not forget throughout my life. All my support for his wife, Roti, his three children and his family. They rested in the peace of Dugo and Andre.”
He also stated in a television interview, “The pain is very big.
