Who is the next Middle East master? | policy

Today, the Middle East is going through a very important historical turning point, as deep geopolitical transformations are intertwined with escalating regional and international domination conflicts, which turns this region into a focus of testing multiple powers that compete for influence and control.

The question about the “Master of the Middle East” is no longer just a geographical or military inquiry.

The war on Gaza has been represented since October 2023, a qualitative turning point in forming global public opinion, not only in terms of the size of the genocide committed, but in terms of its repercussions on the structure of the international system and its moral concepts.

This Holocaust has revealed the fragility of the Zionist narrative in the face of immediate digital documentation tools, and the duplication of Western standards, as the major powers failed to maintain the minimum value balance claiming to be represented.

On the other hand, the Palestinian issue emerged as an ethical indication that re -sorting the positions of elites and peoples on the basis of the traditional political alignment.

Gaza has imposed itself as a stimulating worker to restore humanity internationally and regional, and to form an intercontinental civil and popular solidarity network, which may open the door to strategic transformations that include shaking normalization paths, growing popular pressure on Arab regimes, and expanding the legal front to try the occupation.

Accordingly, what is happening in Gaza is no longer a local or Palestinian matter only, but it has become a global issue that constitutes a moral test of the entire international system.

The region has recently witnessed a twelve-day direct confrontation stage between Iran and the Zionist-American axis, which revealed the fragility of Iranian air defenses, but at the same time it showed Iran’s ability to target the Zionist depth even in its advanced bases.

This tour was not just a transient clash, but rather a turning point that highlights the fragility of the balance based on mutual attrition, and indicates the possibility of escalating confrontations towards more dangerous rounds, which may lead to the breadth of the conflict if there is an error in estimation or a reckless decision.

On the surface of the scene, an existing calm, but behind the scenes, each party sharpens its weapons: Iran is restoring the strategic quietly positioning with unprecedented Chinese and economic support, and its arms move accurately in Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq, while Washington monitors intelligently silently and prepares to engage at the moment of pressure.

On the other hand, Tel Aviv is living a charged military silence, interspersed with political and judicial internal explosions that threaten the Netanyahu government more depth than the missile threatens.

Everyone is in a state of accurate preparation for an explosion, as the next battle will be more than just an exchange of fire: it is a strategic, media, and legal confrontation … and the land is burning without sound.

The ceasefire between Iran and the Zionist-American axis witnessed a cautious international welcome, amid the fragility of the situation and different statements between the leaders. While Trump expressed his frustration, Netanyahu announced “the destruction of the Iranian nuclear program”, despite intelligence reports that deny this.

The Western media- such as the New York Times and the Economist- dealt with a potential opportunity to calm the conflict in Gaza, but other analyzes warned that Israel avoiding resolving the Palestinian issue will remain on the violent cycle.

The Financial Times emphasized that the current truce is only a fragile transitional stage, and the real decision lies in Israel’s willingness to engage in a fair settlement that leads to a fully sovereign Palestinian state, not just managing the conflict as a fait accompli.

At the heart of this scene, the “Greater Israel” project remains present as one of the most prominent threats, as Tel Aviv seeks to establish a comprehensive dominance from the Nile to the Euphrates, not only on Palestinian soil, but also includes the dismantling of the national sovereignty of Arab countries and converting them into affiliated entities.

The project is not only based on military control, but also extends to the economy, security, cultural normalization, and hidden influence networks within Arab government institutions.

Despite the intelligence and military successes achieved by the Zionist-American axis, its project to lead the “New Middle East” collides with a number of structural obstacles: the rejection of the Arab peoples, the cohesion of the resistance forces, the internal crises, and the absence of a collective regional project, all factors that weaken its ability to impose a sustainable reality.

The approval of the Israeli project entirely on American support puts it in a strategic impasse, especially with the decline in Washington’s influence, as a result of its internal crises and the pressures of the Ukraine and China files, which reduces its ability to control the monochromatic of the region’s path.

This geopolitical void began gradually by China and Russia, through new economic and military tools, which pave the way for an international multi -polar system, ending the era of absolute American domination.

Egypt, as the heart of the Arab world, is a central goal in this strategy, where attempts to control the Nile River threaten and target the Suez Canal its regional and economic role.

As for the Gulf states, they face attempts to impose security partnerships that weaken the independence of their decisions. In Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan, the Zionist-American axis is trying to confirm psychological and air domination that prevents these countries from restoring their full sovereign role.

On the other hand, Iran stands out as a resistance axis that possesses a strategic depth extending from Gaza to Sana’a, and reproduces a firm liberal discourse that links the nation’s survival to the liberation of Palestine.

The resistance factions, led by Hamas, are no longer just pressure tools. Rather, they have become active forces that influence military, media and political in the region’s equations.

Gaza, despite the siege and destruction, turned into an ethical heavy center, reshaping the legitimacy of the resistance, and losing the Zionist-American axis, the remaining moral cover in front of international public opinion.

In parallel, the traditional conflict tools are no longer the separation in resolving the domination of the Middle East, but the fronts of consciousness are occupying the forefront.

The resistance media, social media, education, religion, culture, economy and artificial intelligence has become central arenas in the battle of liberation, reinstating the awareness of peoples, breaking the dominance of the narrative imposed by the occupation, and enhancing the discourse of resistance and justice.

This escalating presence of these tools gives the liberation project a psychological, cultural and economic extension, and transforms it from the act of limited military resistance to a comprehensive civilized project, which threatens the system of control from its roots, and redefines the balance of power not only from a military perspective, but from a cognitive, value and moral angle.

In the end, it is not possible to predict one master for the next Middle East, but rather the region is moving towards a complex network of competing and collaborative players, according to the changing interests and conditions.

“Israel”, despite its crises, continues to seek domination, and Iran is strengthening its resistance influence, while Türkiye, Saudi Arabia and Egypt are restoring its strategic positioning. The United States is declining, while Moscow and Beijing are progressing at a deliberate pace.

But the real battle that will decide the final destination of the region is not only in the arenas of politics or geography, but in the field of consciousness and legitimacy.

The next Middle East master, who has the deepest civilized vision, and the ability to build liberal balances that restore the nation, will give its people, and give its people freedom and dignity in a new world order.

“The Middle East does not wait for a new colonizer, but rather a liberation leader who reformulates meaning and unites the ranks.”
