Al -Akhras also possesses ancient and rare videos and cassette, and very ancient academic curricula for Arab countries such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the Emirates and Syria, and pictures and old maps belonging to the capital Amman in the beginning of the last century.

Ahmed Al -Akhras, 47, says that he was hesitating the popular markets in the past, visiting villages and countryside, and listening to the tales of the elderly to collect the unique stories and rare heritage pieces that carry many secrets and striking narratives. Al -Akhras confirms in his talk to Al -Jazeera Net, that he aims, through his humble museum, to the bridge of the gap between the previous and current generations, by preserving the Jordanian national identity, and introducing new generations with its history and past.

With the passage of time, the precious holdings of Al -Akhras turned into an educational and documentary means of the stages of the development of life in Jordanian society, to become a source of researchers, historians and local and Arab media, and Ahmed Al -Akhras is one of the most prominent Jordanian figures who dug her name in the national memory as a witness and historian of the memory of the beautiful time in Jordan.

Al -Akhras was distinguished by his superior ability to document the history of Jordan through pictures, stories and living testimonies, which made him more like a mobile human library that talks about the history of Jordan wherever it is and is traveling, and his actions also contributed to strengthening the national identity and linking new generations to its historical roots.

Keep memories

Al -Akhras fears that his dream will evaporate to find a suitable place to display his holdings and the contents of his museum, calling on the Jordanian official authorities to provide a suitable place to display these holdings whose importance and value increases over time. In order to document this stage of the age of the Jordanian state, Al -Akhras began publishing all his tools, documents and pictures through his page on social media platforms, under the title: “Memory of Beautiful Time”, to transfer his old archive to the virtual world, up to the largest possible number of people to revive their memory.

Al -Akhras concludes his speech by emphasizing that everyone remains trapped in the beautiful time, which is usually an engine for many to return to the nostalgia of the past and its beautiful memories, to the innocent childhood days, the seats of study, the friends of the beautiful time, the simple social relationships that are far from costing, and the details of small life.
