A Yemeni young man grabbed the admiration of the pioneers of digital platforms on a large scale after he risked his life to save a person drowning in a surfing sea.

The young Yasser Antar, 18, watched a man at sea struggling with life in the raging waves, and he was about to drown, and he was drowned to save him.

This incident occurred in the Rambo coast in the Golddor area in the Al -Tawahi district of the governorate Aden Yemeni yesterday, Saturday.

As for the man who was about to drown, he was saved, and was quickly hospitalized and later left, and he is now in good health.

Yasser Antar revealed in his speech to the “Networks” program – in his episode on (2/26/25) – that he was trained and able to risk, in his answer to a question about whether he had received a rescue training.

Praise and demands

In turn, Yemenis praised the courage and speed of the boy in saving the man, which was monitored by the program and presented some of those comments.

In this context, Abd al -Salam said in his tweet, “With such people, we have the right to be proud and boast about, this is the Yemeni spirit in general and the enemy in particular.”

In turn, Abdel -Qader seemed to be oppressive, as he described what happened as “ignorance, backwardness and indifference.”

As for Saqr, his speech focused on the fluctuations that the sea is witnessing in these months and what the coast of Aden, which overlooks the Arabian Sea, is witnessed from the sinking of people every year.

“It would be preferable to publish warnings and rescue boats at the lowest appropriate estimates for the current situation,” Saqr said, appealing to the relevant authorities.

Sharif marched in the same direction, calling for “the publication and generalization of a number of drowning emergencies – especially on the coast of South Yemen – and the provision of ambulance very close to the coasts.”

These measures aim, according to Sharif, to “deal with the event directly with the launch of a simple watercourse for rescue through any active official party, such as security, civil defense or any military party.”

“The world is learning from its trap, and we do not advance,” he added.

This case is not the first of its kind in Aden. A few days ago, Yemeni media said that two people drowned in the beach of lovers in the Tawahi district, while two other people were rescued.

In turn, the Yemeni Coast Guard called for avoiding swimming and approaching the coasts due to the high waves and marine extension, especially with high temperatures.
