The former Arsenal player Thomas Parti was directed to the former Arsenal player, 5 charges of rape and an additional one of the sexual assault in the lawsuit filed by 3 women, according to the police in Britain.
The charges against the 32 -year -old Ghanaian international are due to his alleged commission, which occurred between 2021 and 2022, according to the Capital Police statement.
Police said – yesterday, Friday – that these measures “come in the wake of an investigation conducted, which began in February 2022” after the first complaint.
On the other hand, Parti’s lawyers said in a statement that they “deny all charges against him.”
Lawyer Jenny Wiltereh said that Parti “fully collaborated with the police and the Royal Public Prosecution throughout their 3 -year investigation.” “He is now welcoming the opportunity to clear his name recently,” she added.
“Due to the presence of legal procedures currently underway, the clients cannot make more comments,” she added.
Parti, who comes to the charges against him 4 days after his departure from the North London Club, will appear in court on the 5th of next month.
The police said that rape was related to two women, while the complaint of sexual assault is related to a third woman.
