Military and strategic expert, Colonel Hatem Karim Al -Falahi, said that the ambush that she carried out Al -Quds Brigades in Al -Shuja’ia neighborhood (East city Gaza The northern Gaza Strip) represents an integrated military operation, characterized by pre -planning and accuracy in implementation, and showed the ability of the resistance to transfer the battle from one stage to another with a continuous momentum that confused the Israeli army and lost its balance.
Al -Falahi considered – in an analysis of the military scene in Gaza – that the stages of the ambush, from preparing the minefield to targeting the tank and homes, and passing through direct engagement, confirming that the resistance has developed a serial plan that included logistical preparations, such as digging a ground tunnel within 3 days, which indicates a high organizational capacity and distinct combat efficiency.

For his part, the leader of the Shuja’iya operation in the Al -Quds Brigades – in a statement to the island – confirmed that about 40 Israeli soldiers and officers fell between the dead and wounded in this ambush, indicating that the occupation forces lost the ability to react and only flee and screaming, while charred bodies were monitored for soldiers inside the targeted homes, as he put it.
Al -Falahi added that what is remarkable in the operation is that the resistance fighters expected the enemy’s movements, as they realized that the soldiers would withdraw to the neighboring houses after the bombing of the tank, which prompted them to prepare missiles to target those buildings, which reflects an accurate understanding of the Israeli fighting style and a proactive skill in drawing a possible reaction.
High logistical capabilities
Al -Falahi highlighted – in his speech – the vital role played by the tunnel link that was dug within 72 hours, saying that its completion is so quickly and in a disturbing area reflects a high logistical ability in exceptional circumstances, and confirms once again that the resistance has become dependent on its strategy on the principle of initiative and determining the battlefield according to its will.
