According to the scenes obtained by Al -Jazeera, the operation took place in the area of Ali bin Abi Talib mosque in Khan Yunis in two “Shawah” and “guerrillas” Abbott area.
The scenes showed the monitoring of the two mechanisms that were moving amid the ruins of destroyed houses, before the perpetrators started approaching them and hiding between the wreckage of the houses.
The sounds of heavy bullets were heard before the two perpetrators came out – in broad daylight – from a very few meters distance heading towards the two mechanisms, as one of them threw the package inside one of the two mechanisms and returned it without a cover.
At the same time, the second fighter detonated the second tanker, which was standing a very few meters away from the first tanker, as they exploded almost at one time, while the two perpetrators took pictures of the two mechanisms burning while they were withdrawn from the place, and one of them pledges to return again.
The video showed an Israeli soldier standing next to one of the two mechanisms and could not move, as it showed a helicopter flying that appeared to have reached to save the wounded.

The operation resulted in the killing of an officer and 6 soldiers and the injury of a large number of soldiers after the army was unable to extinguish the fire that caught in a soldier after one of the fighters affixed an explosive device.
Military firefighters were called to the place, and efforts to extinguish the burning tanker were made, but they were unable to do anything, as the occupation army radio said.
The D9 (D9) bulldozer was also brought to the site and the tanker was covered in an attempt to extinguish it, but all the firefighting attempts were unsuccessful.
In view of this, a decision was taken in the field to withdraw the soldiers’ tanker and is still burning, and it was indeed dragged first to Salah al -Din Street in Khan Yunis, and from there outside the Gaza Strip, while the seven soldiers were still inside.
According to the occupation army radio, the soldier’s tanker was not extinguished until after its arrival in Israel, while rescue forces and helicopters were called to the place, but none of the soldiers survived, and there was no one who could be saved from the burning military vehicle.
Commenting on the incident, Israeli media quoted a senior army officer that the scenes of the Al -Qassam ambush in Khan Yunis are shameful and do not give respect to the Israeli army.
