Israel launched a national advertising campaign today, Wednesday, urging citizens to resist Iran’s temptations to spy for its account, and warns them that the consequences are much greater than any financial reward.
This exceptional campaign comes a month after The Israeli -Iranian warWhich lasted 12 days, in which the United States participated in hitting Iranian nuclear facilities, and after what is reported to intensify Iran its efforts to recruit Israelis.
According to Reuters, the campaign bears the name “easy money, an exorbitant cost – do not help the Iranian enemy”, which was prepared by the Internal Security Service (Shin Pitt) and the National Directorate of Public Diplomacy. It will be broadcast on the radio and on major websites and social media platforms.
In one of two video clip, a 20 -second photographer appears a man who eats with his family, while another man appears in the second syllable with drinks with his friends before he appears on the screen a comment saying, “Do you deserve your life/family destroying for five thousand shekels?”
The five thousand shekels (1490 dollars) is a clear indication of the amount that Israelis received in exchange for cooperation with Iran.
The advertisement says that people who have received money from Iran are now behind bars, and warns that anyone who helps Tehran will be punished with imprisonment for up to 15 years.
The National Directorate of Public Diplomacy said that the Shin Pitt and the police discovered more than 25 cases of Israelis believed that Iran recruited them last year for intelligence tasks, and serious security charges were sent to more than 35 people.
The Directorate added, “The campaign has great national importance, especially after (the war with Iran), as it is expected that Iran will intensify its efforts to recruit agents and carry out tasks within Israel.”
For its part, Iran executed several people last month after being convicted of cooperation with Israel and facilitating secret operations within the country.
