Australia, based in Australia, announced that it won a huge contract worth $ 708 million to provide mining services in one of the gold mines in Burkina Faso, West Africa.
The contract will last for 5 years and work will start on June 1, 2025, and it is linked to the “Mana” mine, which is owned by “Endifor Maining”, one of the major companies listed on the Stock Exchange London.

The “Mana” mine produces large quantities of gold, as its production in 2024 reached about 150 thousand ounces, and this number is expected to reach 180 thousand ounces.
The CEO of Berente, Mark Nurwell, said that the new contract is in line with the company’s plans to expand in Africa, especially with its expectations to achieve revenues of up to $ 3.6 billion in 2025.
Despite the security challenges facing some African countries, such as Burkina Faso, this investment reflects an increasing interest from international companies in the wealth of the metal continent.
