Istanbul – On an evening that brought together sports, elegance and visual dazzling, the Turkish city of Istanbul turned into a capital of global boxing yesterday, Wednesday, with its great festive hosting of the International Boxing Federation (IBA), which was called the “Golden Age”, in an unprecedented step to re -present sport with a modern commercial solution that competes with major sports in the world.
The conference was held in one of the major historical hotels in Istanbul in the presence of prominent sports and media figures, led by Russian Omar Karimif, President of the International Boxing Federation, as well as guests of honor from the stars and celebrities, most notably the former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fiuri, and international model Naomi Campbell, who has become present as a media face supporting new initiatives.
Boxing strategic transformations
In his opening speech, Karimbeev revealed the features of the “Golden Age” project, which includes several huge initiatives, and said, “Boxing is no longer just sport, but a global cross -border culture.”
He announced the shift towards full professionalism through the development of professional championships, where a global nature will be organized, in which the most prominent boxers from five continents will participate in the lines of football tournaments.
He also announced the launch of a new traditional traditional boxing championship with bare grip without gloves, which revives the classic style of the game with a new appeal.
Karimifel revealed the opening of the International Boxing Federation several halls in global capitals that have already begun in Kazakhstan as a nucleus of comprehensive training academies aimed at the champions and talent development to build a sustainable future for young boxers around the world, with plans to establish 200 new boxing halls in developing countries during the next two years.
He also revealed the creation of an interactive video game for boxing, which combines sport and technical excitement, loves young people in the game and enables them to try a simulation of realistic virtual reality.
Mini show matches were also organized between young talents from Türkiye and Belgium, in a glass domestic circuit designed in an impressive way.
Boxing fashion show
In a huge shift, the President of the International Boxing Federation launched a new sports fashion line bearing the nature of the game in a modern spirit, announced by a Russian fashion designer, followed by a fashion show for the first time in the history of the federation, in which Niko Ali Walsh, the grandson of the late world boxing legend Mohamed Ali, included a variety of sportswear inspired by boxing, designed specifically from international fashion houses in cooperation with designers from France, Italy and Turkey.
Karimbeev announced an upcoming fight that will be held in the Emirates between Iranian and American boxers, indicating that sport may contribute to a solution to what was spoiled by politics.
The International Federation chose a luxurious celebration hall of a modern Ottoman nature in Istanbul as an amazing visual background for this global event because it connects the continents of Asia and Europe, and that it is the waterfront of the Golden Century, to form an integrated plate that reflected the union’s message “Boxing to the continent and modern as its present.”
The goals of the “Golden Age” initiative
Dr. Youssef bin Ali Al -Kazim, President of the Arab Federation and member of the Executive Office of the International Boxing Federation, told Al -Jazeera Net that the launch of the “Golden Age” boxing initiative aims to create a more comprehensive, supportive and dynamic environment for athletes, trainers and fans by increasing participation by encouraging more boxing, reaching the hobby to professionalism, and enhancing the attractiveness and highlight of the game through marketing and media strategies Innovative.
Al -Kazim added that there are many advantages that will return to athletes from this initiative, the most prominent of which is the provision of many opportunities and training facilities that represent a supportive environment for them.
The initiative expected the fans’ relationship to the boxing, and the game gives the game a broader global spread, especially among the groups of youth and adolescents through interactive games and the tool to be created.
