The Syrian government buses entered a city As -Suwayda The south of the country to carry out evacuations, in conjunction with efforts by the authorities to maintain the ceasefire agreement after dozens of clashes were killed during the past days.
The Syrian news reported that the Syrian government’s buses entered the endosperm to evacuate the injured and detainees from inside the city.
The Commander of the Internal Security in As -Suwayda, Brigadier General Ahmed Al -Dalati, told the official news agency (SANA) that the government’s mediation with the local parties led to an agreement to release the detained Bedouin families and ensure their safe return.
Al -Dalati stressed the need to adhere to the ceasefire, prepare conditions for the return of state institutions and restore security and stability to the province.
For his part, Syrian Interior Minister Anas Khattab said that the Internal Security Forces succeeded in calming the situation in the As -Suwayda Governorate, after its spread in the northern and western region, and enforcing them to a ceasefire.
Khattab explained that this deployment represents a first step towards controlling the chaos of weapons and consolidating security, in preparation for the stage of exchanging prisoners and gradually returning life to normal in all the province.
The Syrian Minister of Interior affirmed that the ceasefire represents the basic compass, which allows state institutions to start their service and administrative role in various regions of As -Suwayda.
Post -crisis
The Suwayda Governorate said that it is working to reactivate government institutions and raise the needs to the relevant authorities to gradually restore life to the province.
The Syrian Civil Defense announced the provision of basic requirements for citizens in shelter centers in cooperation with humanitarian organizations.
On the other hand, Al -Jazeera correspondent said that a humanitarian aid convoy entered the province of As -Suwayda, within the framework of the emergency response announced by the governorate. A government source said that the convoy entered without accompanying the government delegation, after the Sheikh refused Hikri HikriOne of the sheikhs of the Almohad mind Druze The delegation entered the province.
The Syrian Foreign Ministry condemned the prevention of “outlawed armed militias” to enter a humanitarian convoy to the endosperm, accompanied by 3 ministers and governors.
The ministry said, in a statement, that the convoy bears medical supplies and basic humanitarian aid, with the support of international and local organizations, and warned of “serious security repercussions” in the region.
It is noteworthy that armed clashes erupted on July 13, between Bedouin clans and Druze groups in As -Suwayda, followed by movements of government forces towards the area to impose security, but they were attacked by groups that she described as “outside the law and law” that resulted in the killing of dozens of soldiers.
As part of its efforts to contain the crisis, the Syrian government announced 4 agreements to a ceasefire in As -Suwayda, the last of which was yesterday, Saturday.
The previous three ceasefire agreements did not withstand long, as the clashes renewed last Friday after a group of Hijri rule displaced a number of Bedouin clans and practiced violations against them.
Under the pretext of “Protecting the Druze”, Israel took advantage of the recent turmoil in As -Suwayda and its aggression against Syria, as last Wednesday launched extensive raids on 4 governorates, the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense, the Staff and the Oce of the Presidential Palace in Damascus.
