Cyber attacks from Moroccan pirates support Gaza on the Tunisian government technology

In the past months, the Moroccan Pirates Group known as “Jokir 07X” (Jokeir 07X) has launched a group of cyber attacks against several prominent Tunisian institutions, including sites affiliated with the Tunisian government and sites belonging to several banks inside Tunisia.

It is noteworthy that this attack is not the first of the pirate group against the Tunisian government and against a group of international institutions, as the group publishes in every site that penetrates a message that this attack stems from political reasons, specifically standing in front of all countries that support Israel in its recent war against Gaza, and according to what the group published in one of the sites that it had recently penetrated, these attacks focus on the Indian government and its sites, such as what happened with the “Dukart” website (Dikoart) Indian art.

Multiple goals

Although the group’s attack on Tunisian sites was last January, the group returned its activities again at the end of May in an attack on the Al -Salam Bank of the Algerian government, according to what the group published in its account via the “X” platform.

In August, the group announced its penetration of 9 Indian sites with the withdrawal and leakage of data from these sites, and at the same time, the group also announced the penetration of the site of the transfer of currencies owned by an Israeli company and the leakage of its subsidiaries.

According to the websiteZone-xsec Specialized for the follow -up of cyber attacks of various pirate groups, the “Gokir 07 X” group launched several attacks during the current and past year, and its goals include several French and German sites along with American and Canadian sites.

The largest victim, Tunisian sites

According to the cybersecurity expert Osama bin Haj Dahman Al -Sama, through his personal account on the “LinkedIn” website, the “Joachr 07 X” attack included more than 80 different Tunisian sites with the leakage of the data of these sites and user data.

The attack included many sites such as the Tunisian open data portal, the e -learning platform for Tunisian customs, the Tunisian Gas and Electricity Company, the National Tourism Bureau, the Accounting Court, and the employment portal for local groups. From banks, the National Agricultural Bank, Al -Aman Bank and the National Company for Tunisian Banks, as well as the Bank of Projects Bank, included.

The attack raised the ire of many Tunisian cybersecurity experts who continued to publish data related to penetration, including Adam Koki, who was published through his account in “LinkedIn” about penetration, stressing the existence of a set of security errors with the Tunisian government, such as using easy passwords and relying on databases and old additives that can be easily penetrated and the absence of security walls and various cybersecurity equipment.

It is not expected that the attacks of “Gokir 07 X” will stop in the coming days, but who will be the next goal of such attacks?
