A number of patients in northern England have reported their suffering from problems such as extreme eyelids, double vision, difficulty swallowing, stuttering, and lethargy after using them to injection Botulinum poison.
Botulinum is used -and its most famous commercial names PotoxUsually the facial muscles are to reduce wrinkles.
UK health officials have warned of the complications of Botox that may lead to paralysis, and have been alarm about the horrific consequences, according to a news published by the British Daily Mail on June 13.
Although the cause of these cases is still under investigation, it is believed to be associated with a bacterial infection that causes paralysis, called botulism, after cosmetic treatment.
Health officials reported that the 14 cases were reported, from Durham and Darlington Province in the United Kingdom, in the days and weeks that followed the injection.
The British Health Security Agency (The UK Health Security Agency) said that it is not currently believed that the product used is contaminated, a factor known for increasing the risk of injection poisoning.
Officials advised doctors to beware of tissue poisoning in people who have recently undergone cosmetic procedures so that they can obtain appropriate treatment, which includes anti -toxic receipt.

Dr. Joan Dark, a health protection consultant at the British Health Security Agency, said: “Echoal poisoning is a rare infection, but it may be dangerous, and it occurs due to the toxins produced by botulinum clostridium bacteria. These toxins (not bacteria) are the active component of Botox and similar products.”
Allergan Aesthetics, the owner of the brand and Botox manufacturer, stated that it is “familiar with recent reports indicating poisoning and interesting cases suspected of patients in Durham and Darlington who received our right to a product referred to as Potox.”
She added: “Investigations are underway, and Ergan Esttex is cooperating with the local authorities.”
“We are working closely with our colleagues at the UK Health Services Authority to investigate the product, the cause of these side effects, and to ensure that all possible steps are taken to prevent the health situation from exacerbating,” added Amanda Healy, Director of Public Health in Durham Province.
Botulinum venom injection is safe when used by a trained doctor. But if the toxins are given incorrectly, it may cause symptoms such as weakness, difficulty breathing and swallowing.
