Brazilian Football League competitor, Potafogo, announced today, Tuesday, the appointment of Davidi Ancelotti, the son of the Brazilian team coach Carlo Ancelotti, as coach of the team.
Davidy, 35, who worked as an assistant to his father in Bayern Munich, Naples, Everton and recently at Real Madrid, signed a one -year contract with Botafogo. And that is after he left the technical staff of Real, accompanied by his father at the end of last season.
Potafogo dismissed coach Renato Pava a few days ago after the team left the Club World Cup held in the United States, although Pava led the team to beat Paris Saint -Germain, the Champions League champion during the tournament.
