The Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs is planned Ron late Washington soon to hold talks on the ceasefire in Gaza and Iran, and to coordinate an upcoming visit to the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu To the White House, while the families of the prisoners in Gaza repeated their demands on a deal.
The Israeli Walla website reported that Dermer will visit Washington next Monday, and also quoted a US official that Netanyahu’s visit to Washington is expected to take place in the second half of July.
Dermer’s visit to Washington comes while the American President expressed Donald Trump – During a press conference on Friday- his belief that a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip between Israel and the Islamic Resistance Movement (the movement of Islamic Resistance)agitationDuring the next week, he know that his country has provided absolute support to Tel Aviv.
Israeli surprise
In turn, Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper quoted Israeli officials as saying: “We do not understand Trump’s optimism about reaching a ceasefire in Gaza next week.”
Officials added to the newspaper that Israel was surprised by Trump’s statement, as it had not been reported in advance of any change or progress that justifies the situation.
They emphasized that there are no indications of flexibility or change in the positions of Hamas and Netanyahu on ending the war.
Demanding the end of the war
Meanwhile, the families of the Israeli prisoners in Gaza called on Trump to work to stop the war and restore the detainees, during demonstrations previously called for in occupied Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
She said that stopping the war is an Israeli interest.
The families of the detainees stressed that the return of those who described them as “hostages” are the right victory, and stated that “the war may have started as a legitimate war, but today it turned into a war of political motives.”
American commitment
