Harvard and Toronto universities have revealed an emergency plan that would allow a selected group of graduate students in Harvard to continue their studies in Canada if the restrictions imposed on American visas prevent them from entering the United States again.
This is the first strategic emergency plan concerned with foreign students to be announced since the US Department of Internal Security has moved last month to strip Harvard University in terms of registration of foreign students, which was stopped by a federal judge’s decision.
In response to the potential challenges on American visas, students of John F. Kennedy will have Harvard University who cannot return to the United States the option to continue their studies through a program for visiting students at the Monk College for World Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto Canadian University.
