Iran announced today, Sunday, that the attack by the United States on its nuclear facilities in Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan is a “brutal and contrary to international law”, and demanded an emergency meeting of the Security Council to condemn the attack.
The Foreign Minister said Abbas Araqji Washington committed a serious violation of the Charter of the United Nations and international law by attacking our peaceful nuclear facilities.
He added that “this morning events have serious consequences, and the United Nations members are concerned about this criminal behavior.”
He stressed that Iran maintains all options to defend its sovereignty and interests in accordance with the United Nations Charter, which allows response to self -defense.
In a message from Iran to the Security Council, Tehran said that the United States and Israel are responsible for the illegal attack on peaceful nuclear installations.
Iran called for an emergency meeting of the Security Council to discuss this illegal work and take measures to condemn it.
Meanwhile, the Iranian Atomic Energy Authority said in a statement following the American attacks that targeted the three nuclear installations in the country, that this was done “overflowing and even complicity from the International Atomic Energy Agency, and the statement described the attacks as a violation of the Treaty of the non -proliferation of nuclear weapons and other international laws.
The statement criticized the International Atomic Energy Agency for “not condemning” the attacks carried out by Israel and the United States.
“Unfortunately, this action that violates international law was implemented by condolence, and even with a level of cooperation by the International Atomic Energy Agency,” the statement added. “We are waiting for the international community to condemn this chaos based on the law of the jungle, and to support Iran in obtaining its legitimate rights. We assure our great nation that this attack will not discourage us from developing our national nuclear industry,” she said.
On Sunday, the United States entered the Israeli war against Iran, by declaring the president Donald TrumpThe implementation of a “very successful” attack targeting 3 most prominent nuclear sites in Iran, which are Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan facilities.
Trump said in a post on the “Truth Social” platform, the American planes that shot down a full load of bombs on the Fordo, Nanz and Isfahan website before leaving the Iranian airspace in peace.
He added all the planes participating in the operation, they returned safely, describing the American soldiers participating as “great warriors.”
He pointed out that there is no other military force in the world capable of carrying out such an attack. “Now is the time of peace, thanks for your interest in this matter,” he said.
In a later post, Trump spoke that “Fordo has ended” in reference to the destruction of the Iranian nuclear facility.
Since June 13, Israel, with American support, has launched aggression against Iran targeting nuclear facilities, missile bases, military leaders and nuclear scientists.
Tehran responded by firing ballistic missiles and drones at the Israeli depth, in the largest direct confrontation between the two sides, amid rounds of negotiations.
