Israeli occupation armored vehicles shock the Hajj pilgrims in Jenin Varieties

In an incident that sparked widespread anger, two armored vehicles affiliated with the Israeli occupation army collided with a bus carrying a number of Palestinian pilgrims in the city of Jenin, northern the occupied West Bank.

According to local sources and eyewitnesses, the bus was carrying men and women, and moments stopped before its launch towards the Karama crossing on its way to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform the rituals of Hajj, when I was surprised by a sudden storming of the occupation forces of the city. During the violent military maneuvers carried out by the forces in the residential neighborhoods, one of the armored vehicles collided with the bus.

The accident resulted in damage to the bus, while there were no injuries while a state of panic and chaos prevailed among the pilgrims who did not expect such a risk.

Mansour Al -Saadi, Deputy Governor of Jenin, stated that the Israeli mechanism deliberately collided with the bus while stopping, which caused a state of panic and fear between pilgrims and their families, indicating that the accident targeted a segment that represents a human and national symbolism, given that the pilgrims are martyrs and wounded.

For its part, the occupation authorities have not issued any official comment on the incident so far, while many residents of the region considered it a “new provocation” as part of a series of daily violations against civilians in the West Bank.

Activists and human rights institutions demanded to open an international investigation into the incident, stressing that targeting civilians, especially in religious or humanitarian conditions, is a flagrant violation of international laws.

The city of Jenin and its camp repeatedly witnesses violent storming and clashes by the Israeli army, which increases the state of tension and instability in the region.

Despite the attack, the pilgrims continued their journey after providing an alternative bus, confirming their insistence on completing the pilgrimage rituals despite the violation they were subjected to.

About 376 pilgrims from Jenin Governorate will leave this year to Al -Diyar Al -Hijazi, to perform the Hajj pilgrimage, in light of difficult security conditions, targeting, destruction, and a continuous blockade of the city and its camp by the Israeli occupation.
