The Israeli occupation authorities, the liberated prisoner, Muhammad Atoun, from the occupied city of Jerusalem, handed over a decision to withdraw his Jerusalem identity, after storming his house in the town of Tire Baher, south of the city, arresting him and taking the investigation.
Atoun said – in his interview with the island – that the occupation authorities handed him over the decision to cancel his residence in Jerusalem He withdrew his identity, and granted him 7 days to submit a legal objection through a lawyer.
Atoun added that the occupation authorities charged him with a “lack of loyalty to the State of Israel”, describing the decision as void and illegal, and comes in the context of the systematic occupation policies against Jerusalemites.
The occupation authorities treated the Palestinians of Jerusalem as residents, not as original citizens with full rights.
Be Israeli Knesset The year 2018 approved a law that authorizes the Minister of Interior to withdraw residence from Jerusalemites by claiming a “breach of loyalty” to Israel, unlike the text of international humanitarian law that loyalty is not expected from the population under occupation to the occupied state.
Atoun pointed out that the decision represents a harsh blow to him and his family, as it threatens to keep him away from his city in which he was born and grew up, as well as his loss of his work and his deprivation of living between his family and his family, and from entering Jerusalem again.
It is reported that Aton was liberated last February in the fifth batch of the first stage in “Flood of the Liberals” deal Between the Palestinian resistance in Gaza and the Israeli occupation authorities, after spending nearly two years of prison sentences for 4 and a half years.
