A Dutch politician seeks to “remove the Islamic character” from the Netherlands, his brilliant blond poets and his inflammatory rhetoric won the title “Donald Trump, the Dutch”, so who is Khairat Wilders?
Wilders was born in the city of Venlo in the southern Netherlands in 1963, and in 2008 he produced a short movie entitled “Fitnah” in which he tried to link the Islamic religion and terrorism.
He underwent investigation and trial more than once on charges of inciting ethnic and religious groups, which was prevented from entering Britain while he was going to show the film in the House of Lords because his opinions were “a threat to community harmony and public safety.”
