Fuel and hunger crisis
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the fuel deficiency crisis has exacerbated the severe depletion of the health system and the remaining working hospitals.
She added that the increasing pressure from critical injuries increases the need to ensure the continued work of electric generators to operate the vital departments, noting that the occupation deliberately distracts the policy of allowing the entry of fuel.
She also explained that the engineering teams in hospitals are depleted in following up the work of generators and rationalization procedures that have become in vain.
The Ministry again appealed to the concerned authorities to pressure the occupation to enter fuel supplies to make generators.
On the other hand, the Guardian newspaper quoted doctors in Gaza as saying that Israel prohibits the entry of infant formula into the Strip, noting that mothers either die or suffer from malnutrition.
She added that hundreds of infants are at risk of death in light of the acute shortage of infant formula, and that infant mortality is an indication of the imminent starvation crisis in Gaza.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has committed American support for genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction and forced displacement, ignoring international calls and the orders of the International Court of Justice to stop it.
