Military expert: The occupation accelerates the process of destruction and the battle of the area continues news

The military and strategic expert, Brigadier Elias Hanna, said that the Israeli occupation army is working to accelerate the systematic destruction in the Gaza Strip as part of a clear plan to control the largest possible area of the land, in conjunction with the reduction of any human cost to its forces.

Hanna explained in an analysis of the military scene in the Gaza Strip that the areas that are witnessing violent operations such as the Lahiya Istiya, Al -Shuja’ia in the north, and East Khan Yunis in the south are continuous battlefields, and they are at the heart of the Israeli strategy aimed at imposing a new field reality before any possible political agreement.

He added that the occupation considers Khan Yunis a pivotal center in its operations, and aims to push towards dividing the sector into two isolated regions, one in Gaza and the other in the south in the quarrels, so that Palestinian civilians are limited to these two regions.

He pointed out that the fighting in Beit Lahia, Al -Shuja’ia and Khan Younis is in the goal of expanding the “buffer zone”, which is part of an Israeli security perception linked to the stages of implementing the ceasefire agreement proposed by the American envoy Steve Witkev.

He continued that the first day of the agreement includes the redeployment of the occupation forces in the north, while evoking new field maps, while it is expected that the seventh day will witness the spread of the spread in the south, which enshrines Israeli control on the ground.

New maps

Hanna said that the Palestinian resistance is aware of this equation, and therefore it is keen to prevent the occupation from stationing and imposing a fait accompli through the continuous fighting at the points of contact, which prevents fixing new maps similar to those that were put in January last.

He considered that Al -Shuja’ia represents a military center of gravity, just as the house of Lahia and Jabalia, and therefore the occupation intends to follow a comprehensive destructive policy in it, referring to the statement of an Israeli brigade commander indicating the destruction of about a thousand homes that obscure any vision of the settlement of Nahal Oz.

He added that the killing of a civilian contractor in Al -Shuja’ia is charged with the demolition of infrastructure homes, reflects the urgency of the occupation in carrying out widespread destruction instead of resorting to traditional explosive means that have become limited to him, in light of the pressure of time and the depletion of resources.

Hanna emphasized that the destruction in East Khan Yunis, and Khuza’a specifically, comes within the axis of a major attack that starts from Kissovim to Al -Qarar and then to the depth of Khan Yunis, with the possibility of expanding north to the center of the sector, which explains the declaration of Khuza’a area entirely disaster.

He explained that the operations in Absan, especially around the Morag axis, confirm that the occupation seeks to expand peers, areas that include what he calls the “red belt” that he tries to install as a fait accompli that serves its major plan.

The battle of space

He pointed out that the Israeli Chief of Staff, Eyal Zemir, spoke earlier about a 3 -month plan to control the sector and 9 months to dismantle the resistance, stressing that these statements reflect the Israeli insistence on fighting the battle of “space”.

He explained that the battle of the area means imposing a reality on the ground by force, and stabilizing the areas of control without having to pay a high human price, which leads to adopting the strategy of “gradient nibbling” instead of a comprehensive confrontation.

Hanna saw that the occupation is betting on the gradual pressure on the resistance in parallel with the negotiations of Yakouf, so that cumulative field gains are extracted that weaken the resistance papers and push them to accept new maps that are unfair to them.

He added that the contractor who was killed in the house of Lahia was charged with destroying infrastructure for the resistance, which clearly reveals that the destruction operations are not random, but rather within a deliberate plan aimed at stripping the resistance of the future capacity.

He added that when he spoke about his rejection of an eternal war, he was trying to reconcile the available military capabilities with the political aspirations of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who raises the ceiling of goals despite the limited ability to achieve.

Brigadier Hanna believes that the field reality experienced by the Israeli army today, especially in the north, was a motivation for a shift in the tone of the military leadership, and they have a priority to balance goals with the ability to bear costs.
