Newcastle Football has agreed to a $ 75 million deal to sign Swedish striker Anthony Elanga, coming from Nottingham Forest, in his first deal in the transfer window, according to media reports on Tuesday.
The Athletic website and BBC and Sky Sports announced that the Swedish international is on his way to St. James Park.
Ilanga, 23, has emerged within the ranks of Forest, and led him to seventh in the league last season, as he scored 6 goals and passed 11 decisive balls.
Forest had contracted Ilanga for approximately $ 20 million from Manchester United two years ago.
Newcastle is preparing to strengthen its ranks, in preparation for a return to the Champions League next season after finishing last season in fifth, and he won the English League Cup by beating Liverpool 2-1 in Wembley last May.
