Qatar Airways is the best airline in the world for the year 2025 | economy

I won Qatar Airways Once again, the world’s best airline award for 2025 by the International Air Transport Class Class “Sky Trax”, to maintain the first place globally for the ninth time.

The announcement came during the International Airlines Awards ceremony today, Tuesday, as part of the exhibition activities Paris For flying.

In addition to receiving the highest prize in the aviation sector, Qatar Airways won a set of awards, which included:

  • The best business class award in the world
  • Best Airlines Award in The Middle East
  • Best Travelers Award for Business Class (Coral Hall – Garden at Hamad International Airport)

It should be noted that these prizes depend on a global referendum that included more than 325 airlines, and covers assessments from travelers from more than 100 nationalities during the period from September 2024 to May 2025

The awards of international airlines are widely considered “Oscar of the Aviation Industry”, and it started in 1999 and has been completely independent and fair, as all the costs of customer polls and the award ceremony are affiliated by the organizers, namely Skytrax.

Commenting on this success, Eng. Badr Mohamed Al -Meir, CEO of Qatar Airways Group, said: “Getting the title of the best airline in the world for the ninth time is an exceptional honor. It ranked second, Singapore Airlines, which is the winner of five times the World Airlines Award for the year, while Cathy Pacific lines advanced to third.
Emirates Airlines ranked fourth, while ANA lines (the first Nippon Iris) came in fifth, among more than 325 airlines covered in the survey results.
