Qatar warns of the danger of the Israeli bombing of Iran for energy supplies news

The Qatari Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman bin Jassim Al Thani, affirmed today, Friday, the danger of Israel targeting economic facilities in Iran, warning of his disastrous and internationally and international repercussions, especially the stability of energy supplies.

The Qatari Foreign Ministry said, in a statement, that Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman discussed in a telephone conversation with the Norway Foreign Minister Assab Barthe Eddie, cooperation relations between the two countries and regional files, headed by Israel’s attack on Iran.

The statement pointed out that the Qatari Prime Minister stressed during the call the need to spare civilians the consequences of the war and the commitment not to target civil facilities.

Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman emphasized that the assault of Israel undermines the efforts to achieve peace and threatens to drag the region for a regional war, and expressed the condemnation of the State of Qatar for repeated Israeli violations and attacks in the region.

The course of dialogue

The Qatari Prime Minister stressed the necessity of concerted regional and international efforts to reduce escalation and resolve differences through diplomatic means, stressing that the State of Qatar is making unremitting efforts with its partners to return to the course of dialogue between all parties to address outstanding issues, and to consolidate security and peace in the region and the world.

Since the dawn of June 13, Israel has launched widespread attacks on Iran targeting nuclear facilities, missile bases, military leaders and nuclear scientists, and Tehran has responded by firing ballistic missiles and drones towards the Israeli depth, in the largest direct confrontation between the two sides.

According to the last official toll announced by the Iranian Ministry of Health last Monday, Israeli strikes killed 224 people and wounded 1277 others, most of them civilians.

On the other hand, the latest Israeli estimates, quoting Israeli media – including the 12th channel – indicate the killing of 25 Israelis and the injury of more than 800 others as a result of Iranian strikes.
