Media reports in Tunisia said today, Tuesday, that the Tunisian Football Association began negotiations with the young Brazilian player for the Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon, Alison Santos, with Tunisian origin, in order to play for the Carthage Eagles.
It should be noted that Alison Santos, 22, is the son of the former Brazilian player for the Tunisian Esperance Club, Adelerton Pereira Santos, who obtained Tunisian citizenship.
And the private “Mosaique” radio quoted unveiled sources as saying that the Tunisian Football Association seeks to include the player for the ranks of the team, which suffers from a lack of players from distinguished competencies.
Tunisia had previously included in its ranks of Brazilian origin, Silva Doss Santos and Josie Clayon, who led Carthage Eagles to win the only African Nations Cup in the team’s 2004 score in Tunisia.
