Martinelli’s current contract with Arsenal extends until the summer of 2027, while reports indicate that he can receive an annual salary of victory of 20 million euros, which is equivalent to 3 times his salary with “Gunners”.
For its part, the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” believes that there is a single obstacle that stands a stumbling block in front of the possibility of completing the deal, as the player’s transfer to the Saudi League may reduce his chances of participating in the upcoming World Cup 2026.
On the part of Arsenal, this deal may help him if his attack line is strengthened, which is a top priority, by investing this amount in contracting with Swedish Victor Gyodiris, Sporting Lisbon’s striker, or strengthening the center of the wing by including the Brazilian Rodrigo Gos, who has not participated in Real Madrid since the arrival of coach Xabi Alonso.
Martnelli, 24, is one of the most prominent Arsenal players under the leadership of Spanish coach Mikel Arteta, who is pushing on the left.
The last season, Martinelli played 51 games in all championships, during which he scored 10 goals and presented to his teammates 6 decisive passes, and ended up without achieving titles.
Arsenal finished the 2024-2025 season in second place in the Premier League table with 74 points, 10 points behind Liverpool, and was excluded from the Champions League semi-final with the loss of Paris Saint-Germain (1-3) in the total of the home and away matches after Real Madrid removed in the previous round.
