Reuters: Israel has killed 14 Iranian nuclear scientists since the attacks news

Two sources told Reuters today, Sunday, that at least 14 Iranian nuclear scientists have been killed in Israeli attacks on Iran since Friday, some of them in bombings with car bombs.

The Israeli army had announced earlier Saturday that it was assassinated 9 prominent scientists and experts involved in the Iranian nuclear project.

He stressed – in a statement – that “the assassination of the nine experts represents a painful blow to the ability of the Iranian regime to possess weapons of mass destruction.”

He explained that the nine scientists were playing a “decisive role in supporting Tehran’s plans to obtain nuclear weapons.”

Iranian media confirmed the killing of 3 other nuclear scientists on Saturday, including Ali Bakai Karimi, Mansour Military and Saeed Burji, bringing the number of scholars targeted by Israel in its last attack to 9.

At dawn on Friday, Israel began a massive attack on Iran with dozens of fighters, which he called “the rising lion”, during which nuclear facilities and missile bases were bombed in different areas and assassinated prominent military leaders and nuclear scientists.

On the same evening, Iran began responding to the attack with a series of ballistic missile strikes and drones, killing and dozens of injured, as well as major material damage that affected buildings and vehicles.
