A joint project will be formed between the two sides, as Russia will have 90% of the project shares, while the Republic of the Congo will maintain a 10%.

The project aims to ensure stable supplies of oil products in the Republic of Congo Brazzaville and its neighboring regions, which helps reduce logistics costs and support regional energy security.

The project will witness the establishment of a major pipeline that runs between the cities of Puant Nawar and Brazaville.

The project will also follow a system that relies on a contract for building, possessing, operating and transferring, with an agreement signed with the joint project for a period of 25 years.

A guaranteed transfer tariff is included to ensure distinctive financial returns for investors.

According to the agreement, the Republic of Congo Brazzaville must provide the necessary permits and approvals, in addition to providing preferential tax and customs facilities.

For its part, Russia is responsible for securing the commercial financing of the project without relying on government or local expenditures.
