The third round includes 18 teams divided into 3 groups, each of which includes 6 teams competing in the league system from two phases, between September 2024 and June 2025.
The first two teams from each group qualify directly to the World Cup, while the two direct seats are determined by Asia through the fourth round in a continental supplement, while there will be an opportunity for an additional seat through a fifth round in the global supplement.
