The number of victims of destroyed floods that swept Texas, USA To at least 120 people, while 161 others are still missing, according to US media quoted on Wednesday about the local authorities.
The authorities explained that at least 96 people died in Kiir County alone, including 36 children, many of whom are in a summer camp for girls.
5 days after the sudden floods that invaded a number of state provinces, some of them in the middle of the night, hopes were diminished by finding survivors, while Texas Governor Greg Abbott warned that the numbers of missing people may rise with the continued arduous searches.

Abbott said that more than 2,200 rescuers are still scattered, adding in a statement, “The conditions of floods caused by storms last week affect multiple areas throughout the state, including central Texas and the Hill Country, Big Country and Valley of Konchu.”
Abbott said that “in the province of Kiir alone, there are 161 people missing,” noting that this number is based on the number of people who were reported to be lost by their friends, relatives or neighbors.
“It is very likely to be added more to this list” to the missing persons as a result of the disaster, adding that until Tuesday evening there were 5 camp and a single guide who are still missing, in addition to another child not related to the camp.
The research is still ongoing with the participation of helicopters, drones and teams with trained dogs, to find other victims.
