Gaza- The Revolutionary Court of the Military Judicial Authority at the Ministry of Interior in Gaza gave the accused Yasser Abu Shabab 10 days – Starting today, Wednesday, July 2025 – to hand himself over to the competent authorities for his trial before the judicial authorities.
The Revolutionary Court said – in a statement – that the decision comes in accordance with the provisions of the Palestinian Penal Code No. 16 of 1960, and the Revolutionary Procedures Law of 1979.
The Revolutionary Court charged 3 charges to Abu Shabab represented in betrayal and intelligence with hostile parties, contrary to the text of Article (131), and the formation of an armed gang, contrary to the text of Article (176), and armed disobedience, contrary to the text of Article (168).
The court stressed that if Abu Shabab does not respond and does not surrender himself, then he is considered an escape from the face of justice and tries in absentia. And she called on everyone who knows his place of existence to tell him, otherwise he is considered a criminal who escaped from the face of justice.
Criminal charges
The security authorities in Gaza, Abu Shabab – born in February 27, 1990 – have been chasing since the end of last year to form an armed gang that cooperates with the occupation, and it is sheltering inside the eastern areas of the Rafah governorate, which is controlled by the Israeli army.
Abu Shabab’s gang committed murders against citizens, targeting the Palestinian resistance elements under the direction of the Israeli occupation, and theft of aid as soon as they entered into Gaza Strip via Karam Abu Salem crossing crossing Southeast Rafah city.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli army has taken the formation of armed gangs supported by it, in an attempt to strike security and stability in the Gaza Strip, and to use it to implement its agenda to starve more than two million Palestinians.
