Security

Helicopters and running aircraft were also deployed to secure the airspace, amid precautionary measures aimed at protecting leaders and securing the region.
The security services have taken measures to counter cyber threats and drones, including the use of advanced monitoring and monitoring systems. The Emergency Administration has also developed plans to deal with any potential fires or disasters, including the deployment of specialized firefighting units around the village of Kananasx and Calgary Airport, and activating air monitoring systems to monitor any possible fire activity in Alberta Province.

Speaking to Al -Jazeera Net, Ahmed Abdullah, 40, who is planning to participate in Sunday’s protests, said that “the heavy security deployment around Calgary Airport, in addition to the facilities provided to organize demonstrations, reflect the Canadian state’s keenness to achieve a balance between the requirements of security and the right of citizens to freedom of opinion and expression.”
He added that the tense international atmosphere in which the summit is held, makes these demonstrations an important symbolic means of solidarity with fair issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian issue, stressing the peaceful and organized nature of the demonstrations called by different societal and human rights bodies.
