Refusal
On Thursday, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the Emirates, Bahrain, the Sultanate of Oman and Kuwait, in addition to Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt and Turkey, in a joint statement, expressed its rejection of all external interference in the affairs of Syria, after the Israeli attacks on Damascus and other Syrian regions under the pretext of protection Druze.
The joint statement condemned the repeated Israeli attacks on Syria as an attack on its sovereignty and a flagrant violation of international law.
He also affirmed the support of these countries for Syria’s security, unity, stability and sovereignty.
The statement welcomed the agreement reached Wednesday evening regarding the situation in As -Suwayda, and stressed the need to implement it.
The statement also welcomed the commitment of Syrian President Ahmed al -Shara to hold those responsible for the abuses against the Syrian citizens in the As -Suwayda Governorate.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry said that the joint statement was issued after extensive talks between the foreign ministers of 11 countries during the past two days.
It is noteworthy that in the past few days, the province of As -Suwayda has witnessed bloody clashes that left hundreds of victims, according to some sources.
