He signed the American President Donald Trump An executive order prohibits citizens of 12 countries from entering the United States and imposing partial restrictions on citizens from 7 other countries, as well as prohibiting the entry of foreigners who seek study at Harvard University.

According to this executive order, full restrictions are imposed on citizens from Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.

Trump also announced partial restrictions on the citizens of Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan and Venezuela, and pledged to add other countries to the list if required.

The US President said – in his announcement of the decision on Wednesday evening local time – that he found that “the entry of citizens of some countries to our country will harm American interests unless measures are taken.”

He added that “The Colorado attack is the most intense risk that our country is exposed to due to the entry of foreigners who have not been properly verified.”

For his part, he said White House Trump has signed this “to protect the nation from entering terrorists and others who threaten national security.”
