The Turkish deputy from the Hoda Bar party, Farouk Denich, was injured during his participation in the “Caravan of Sumoud” march, asking to open Rafah crossing The border in Egypt.
The party affirmed that its health condition is stable, warning against the activists, including Turkish citizens, to serious attacks threatening their safety.
The party called on the Turkish authorities to urgently intervene and warn Cairo against the continuation of these attacks.

Detention and deportation
Yesterday, Friday, the Egyptian authorities detained and deported more foreign nationals who were seeking to join the global march to Gaza, hours after the arrest of the “steadfast” convoy, which started from Tunisia at the doors of the Libyan city of Sirte under the pretext of waiting for security approval.
Hundreds of foreign activists arrived in Egypt this week to participate in the global march to Gaza, an initiative that aims to pressure Israel to end its blockade of the Palestinian sector. The organizers said that people from 80 countries are preparing to start the march towards the Rafah Al -Masry crossing with Gaza, and confirmed that the Egyptian authorities have deported some or detained them at the airport.
The French Press Agency quoted a statement of the organizers that 40 participants in the global march to Gaza were stopped their march about 45 km east of the capital, Cairo, and they were prohibited from moving, and the passports of the participants were confiscated, according to a statement by the organization.
In their statement, the organizers affirmed that they are a “peaceful movement and respect Egyptian laws”, calling on diplomatic missions to intervene in order to allow the march to continue.
The “global march to Gaza” includes about 4 thousand participants from 50 countries. It was scheduled – according to the organizers – to cross the buses in the Sinai region, to reach the city of Al -Arish, which is located more than 350 km east of Cairo, and that the participants continue their path on foot for a distance of 50 km, all the way to the Egyptian side of Rafah.
