The researcher specializing in Israeli affairs, Imad Abu Awad, believes that there is a growing shift within Israel towards the conviction that the war is a political and economic burden that only serves Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in power.
He explained to Al -Jazeera Net, that Israeli writers and analysts publicly present the idea of an “internal deal”, which requires the end of Netanyahu’s trials in exchange for dismantling his alliance with religious Zionism and the formation of a central government, which is consistent with an American desire to end the war and prepare the Israeli political scene for new normalization paths.
Abu Awad added that Netanyahu has begun to regain his strength in opinion polls by obtaining about 30 seats, which drives his opponents to think about reducing the influence of religious parties with a political settlement that guarantees his safe departure from the trial.
He pointed out that the sectors within the “Likud” party are unannounced unanimously, in light of the daily human losses, the decline in production, and the erosion of confidence in the military and political institutions.
He stressed that the statements of US President Donald Trump about the protection of Netanyahu are not a coincidence, but rather in the context of supporting an internal settlement that ends the war and opens the door to expand the so -called “Abraham agreements” in the next stage.
Resistance
On the other hand, political analyst Ibrahim Al -Madhoun believes that the resistance runs the battle with confidence and cohesion, and its operations are escalated within a clear equation without making concessions.
In his speech to Al -Jazeera Net, he added that the political constants of the resistance are still in place, and are the following:
A comprehensive and lasting ceasefire, a complete withdrawal of the occupation forces from the Strip, lifting the siege on Gaza, and implementing a prisoner exchange deal.
Al -Madhoun indicated that the resistance succeeded in raising the pace of its field operations, which led to an increase in the human and logistical cost of the Israeli army, and contributed to creating a state of attrition that affects the political decision in Tel Aviv.
He explained that the resistance attaches great importance to immunizing the internal front despite the siege and massacres, by developing internal solutions and organizing the state of resilience, and activating the societal and family structure as a pillar in the battle of stability.
He stressed that the factions still have the ability to initiate and field work, and that their military structure is still coherent despite the intense bombing and harsh conditions, which confuses the occupation accounts and prevents it from achieving any strategic achievement.
Between Tel Aviv and Tehran
He linked the fatty between the course of the war in Gaza with the recent Israeli escalation with Iran, noting that the war with Tehran directly affected the course of the confrontation in the Strip, in favor of the Palestinian resistance.
He said that Israel entered the confrontation with Iran with the illusion of imposing a new deterrent equation, but it came out with great losses, most notably the failure of its defense systems, the exposure of its fragility and a direct American engagement limit the margin of its maneuver.
He added that the resistance read this regional transformation accurately, and considered it an opportunity to stabilize its position and conditions, after Israel became far from achieving a military victory and closer to the search for a political exit.
Al -Madhoun concluded his speech, “The resistance is now more certain that the occupation that failed in Tehran will decline in Gaza as well, if it continues to pressure its field, political and media.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has committed genocide in Gaza with American support, including killing, starvation, destruction and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders to the International Court of Justice to stop it.
The extermination left more than 188,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11 thousand missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced people and the famine that has been tired of the lives of many of them children.
