Jordan qualified for the FIFA World Cup for the first time in its history after the loss of Iraq 2-0 against South Korea in Basra in the penultimate round of the third round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 finals today, Thursday.

The Jordanian striker Ali Alwan was recorded to lead his country to achieve a valuable 3-0 victory over Oman earlier today to raise the team’s balance to 16 points in second place.
